" Once we get
you in! We will
get you back"
The Red Tomato and Original House of Lamb together span forty  years of great restaurant service to the desert communities.
Two menus
under one roof. The Red Tomato is famous for its fantastic pizza, pasta and parmesans ( New Yorkers say the
eggplant is better at The Red Tomato than in New York). Now that is saying something! The Original House of Lamb has been
coined "
The Lamb Capitol of the World". Elmer Dills of KABC made that statement in a restaurant review many years ago and it
is the trut
h. The ethnic background of The lamb entrees are from Albania. If you like lamb racks, chops, shanks, and stew.
Th
en you will fall in love with The House of Lamb, come on down and ask for Bill. Both menus are now household words here in
the desert. The T
wenty-Five years of popularity have made it possible for Bill to sponsor many fundraisers. The most
memorable event
was feeding the needy on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. None of these charitable events could have
happen
ed without our customers, local volunteers, and Bill's loyal staff.

Now a little about The Red Tomato and The House of Lamb, when you fi
rst enter you will instantly have the feeling that you are
home. The wonderful kitchen aromas and wonderful music set the stage for that dining experience for
which you have been
looking for
.

After you are seated, you are immediately served a basket of home made hot
facaccio bread and herb butter along with
panzanella, and Italian bread relish. With your entree, you have a choice of soup or mix green dinner salad. With a choice of
dressing.
Please notice the warm antique atmosphere with 40's 50's and 60's music in the background. The walls are covered
with movie memorabilia
, movies posters and antique painting from the Desert to Monteray.

Here at The Red Tomato and House of Lamb
me want your visit to be an unforgettable experience - combining the finest food,
friendly service
, and an atmosphere of congeniality and friendship. So that you will leave without regret and return with
anticipation.

We are always there to help out v
eterans, senior citizens, and the school kids. We can never forget to support the animal
shelters
for the dogs and cats that need our help. I want to dedicate this restaurant success story to the late Maureen Daly for
her
twenty years of reviews that put The Red Tomato and House of Lamb on the map and made them both household names.

She will always be in our hearts.
